The international public relations association (IPRA in English abbreviates) has given a Golden World Award in the category “Relaciones con medios (Relations with the media)” to the multinational agency Axon Comunicacion International Corp. The work done by the communication team BSA | The Software Alliance around promoting safe and legal software in Latin America has been recognized as one of the best in the world in its category.
Every year, from 1991, the Golden World Awards of IPRA has recognized the best in the public relations work worldwide. The awards actually attract more than 400 entries from 50 countries and are organized in a series of categories, which covers all the specialty areas of public relations.
The main objective of “Proyecto Macondo (Macondo Project)” was to generate conscience about the negative impact for the piracy of software and transmit the advantages of legal software. The campaign was done focused on the market’s principles of Latin American.
Carlos Trelles, Director for Latin America of Axon Comunicacion International Corp. and responsible for the practices of Intelectual Property said: “El premio es el reconocimiento a un arduo trabajo y planificacion de equipo regional. It should be remembered that Axon Comunicacion International Corp. has been recognized with important international award to their communication just like the SABRE Awards Americas 2014, Award Eikon and PR Daily Media Relations.
